Unfortunately, Monica was diagnosed only at the age of 5. She had the first operation in 2018, after which the child’s health deteriorated again. Now Monica is preparing for the second operation.
“Take a Step” foundation was able to collect half of the cost of the operation and asked VIVA to provide the other half – 134,234 rubles.
In June 2019, Monica was fitted with special orthoses, in which she will now walk. They will prevent the disease from progressing further. The cost of orthoses is 216,000 rubles.
