All of them are from Artsakh, as today this is the most socially unprotected group of population in our country. Diabetes is a chronic disease that requires systemic therapy and constant monitoring. Patients have to constantly measure blood sugar levels and injections (sometimes up to 5-6 times) throughout the day, otherwise coma can occur.
Without medication, these patients are doomed. These are special strips for control and sugar-lowering drugs. Most of the patients from Artsakh do not have the money for this now. They often save money on medicines in order to feed their families and provide for their children.
However, the supply of medicines is running low. It is very important for patients to receive uninterrupted help, so we are appealing to you! The Foundation needs to purchase a new batch of medicines for the next two months as soon as possible. We announce a new fundraising for the purchase of the drug “Lantus” and test strips for glucometers. These funds will help basically to survive.
The amount which we need to raise is AMD 1,680,000 and is intended for the purchase of medicines and test strips for two months for 25 patients. Thank you to everyone who has helped and is helping us!
